Art Workshop - 29th May
Wednesday 29th May
Session 1: 12:45pm - 1:45pm
Session 2: 2:00pm - 3:00pm
Session 3: 3:15pm - 16:15pm
Join us to design and print a colourful fabric pennant to keep.
Working with artist Becky Vincer you’ll use a rainbow of heat transfer papers with stencils and doilies to design a small pennant using a process called sublimation printing. A pennant is a small fabric banner that hangs from a dowel and string. Sublimation is a mess free dying technique, in this workshop we will layer silhouettes and stencils in shapes inspired by Godinton House and Gardens.
The workshop is suitable for adults and children over 5 years old. Children under 12 must be accompanied by an adult.
