Born in California and raised in Lithuania, Ignas Maknickas is now based in London and was a winner at the 2023 Young Classical Artists Trust international auditions.
Often decorated in competition, Ignas was winner of the 2024 Award for Keyboard at the Royal Overseas League Annual Music Competition.
Ignas has appeared in concerto with orchestras including the Aarhus Symphony, Bloomington Symphony, Lithuanian National Symphony and London Mozart Players. In recital he has appeared at prestigious venues including the Wigmore Hall, Auditorium du Louvre, Charlottenborg Festival Hall in Copenhagen and Lithuanian National Philharmonic.
Ignas completed his Bachelor, Master of Arts programmes and Advanced Diploma Programme at the Royal Academy of Music on full scholarship under Professor Joanna MacGregor CBE, and is currently holder of the Aud Jebsen Piano Fellowship.
The morning’s program of music will begin at 11am. The performance will last approximately 45 minutes with tea or coffee and a slice of homemade cake to follow at 11:45am.

Netherlands born violinist, Charlotte Spruit, is a prize winner of numerous international competitions, including the Young Classical Artists Trust International Auditions 2023 first prize and audience prize and the Genuin Classics prize at the Leipzig International Johann Sebastian Bach Competition, as well as prizes at the Kloster Schöntal International Violin Competition, Concours International Arthur Grumiaux, Oskar Back Violin Competition and Anton Kersjes Violin Prize in 2020. She is a 2023 Grand Prize winner of the Young Classical Artists Trust’s International Auditions, and was selected as one of Classic FM’s ‘Rising Stars’ of 2024.
A keen chamber musician and soloist, Charlotte has performed at prominent locations such as the Concertgebouw Amsterdam, Wigmore Hall in London and the Elbphilharmonie Hamburg. As a concerto soloist, Charlotte has played with numerous orchestras, including the Residentie Orkest The Hague, The Netherlands Radio Philharmonic Orchestra, the Pauliner Barockensemble, and Ensemble Esperanza.
Charlotte also enjoys exploring different ways of bringing music to the audience. She has collaborated with artist Jérémie Queyras, creating performances combining painting and music. Together they won the first prize at the Goodmesh Concours in 2022.

Funds raised from ticket sales for this music event will be donated to Dandelion Time. Dandelion Time is a local nature-based charity that gives early support to children who have suffered from traumatic experiences such as domestic abuse and neglect. We help them overcome their emotional and behavioural issues to build self-esteem and confidence, and cope better at home, at school and in life.
